La Veladora logo design
La Veladora is the back bar at William and Company that brings the traditions of mezcal to life through music, taste, and culture. They needed a logo to evoke a sensory journey similar to the moment you stepped in the space. From the pouring of spirits to the rich history of the agave plant and the sacred production process, La Veladora is more than a back bar, its a place for friends, family, knowledge, and spreading love.
Inspiration
“One, it’s the Day of the Dead altar candle that burns through the night; two, a nightwatcher (“so kind of a night owl,”…and, three, the traditional glass you use to drink mezcal in Oaxaca, Mexico (aka the birthplace of the agave spirit)…“It’s really the perfect name.” - Lily Ballance Owner
Once we finalized the identity, we brought it to life.
